MY APPROACH TO STYLE
My medium of choice is digital photo montage. I seek to engage the viewer in representational and realistic abstraction – taking simple and disparate images, breaking them down, and recombining them into a more abstract form that conveys new meaning.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I am fascinated by the concept of duality, the unifying theme in a large number of my compositions. The recurring elements in my work serve to maintain a style and inter connectivity between often seemingly diverse pieces, yet no two completed works are alike.
My projects are unique as the source material is derived exclusively from my original photographs. I select individual elements from my photos and reposition them into a harmonious new arrangement through juxtapositions and multiple overlays, as well as integrating line drawings, text and visual design elements.
I enjoy taking a wide selection of photos, and digital photo montage allows me to continually redefine what those photos allow me to see.

MON APPROCHE DE STYLE
Mon médium de préférence est le photomontage numérique. Je cherche à amener le spectateur dans le monde de l'abstraction figurative et réaliste en prenant des images simples et disparates, en les décomposant, et en les recombinants en une forme plus abstraite exprimant ainsi un nouveau sens.
DECLARATION DE L'ARTISTE
Je suis fasciné par le concept de la dualité, thème unissant mes compositions. C'est en explorant ce thème en particulier que je vois le monde autour de moi avec plus de clarté. Les éléments répétitifs servent à maintenir un style et un lien entre des pièces souvent très différentes et malgré cela, aucune de mes œuvres n’est identique.
Mes projets sont uniques car le matériel source provient exclusivement des mes photographies originales, créant ainsi que des œuvres uniques. Des éléments individuels sont sélectionnés et ensuite recomposés pour créer un nouvel arrangement harmonieux par juxtapositions et superpositions multiples, et par l'intégration de traits dessinés, de texte et d'éléments de conception visuelle.
J'aime prendre une grande variété de photos, et le photomontage numérique me permet de redéfinir ce que ces photos me permettent de voir.
